At StepStone, we walk alongside our neighbors through times of crisis and hardship toward lasting stability. We provide compassionate support for neighbors facing hunger, domestic violence, and housing instability, offering food, safe housing, advocacy, and other essential services.
Through our various programs, StepStone addresses the interconnected challenges of food insecurity, abuse, and poverty faced by many Wichitans. Our Community Food Pantry offers fresh, nutritious food to neighbors from across Wichita in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Our Domestic Violence Program includes transitional housing for up to two years for survivors and their children alongside on-site supportive services. Our Neighbor Services Program provides Hilltop residents with homelessness prevention services, individual advocacy, and neighborhood engagement opportunities.
